September 3, 2018 | Labor Day

Labor to keep alive in your breast that little spark of celestial fire, called conscience. President George Washington, The 1st

My fellow Americans, today, part of the Labor Day Weekend, was a day set apart to honor the contributions the American workers have made to the solidarity, strength, growth, prosperity, laws, progress and well-being of this excellent country.

As a Great Nation, the United States of America is a perfect manifestation of the works of our Creator, in and through its people, so far as it has gone in the process of becoming a Glorious Nation, a fundamental constituent part of the forward movement toward the completion of a Majestic World the Universal Kingdom of Heaven on Earth, Imago Mundi. America’s neighbor, Canada, also observes Labor Day on the first Monday of September while the other countries have their own days set apart to honor their workers.

In essence, the meaning of this public holiday should also be thought of as directly related to the same evolving cause that led President George Washington and the founders of America to fight for the freedom of and for a better life for its people, which is no different than what illuminated and motivated President Abraham Lincoln to see through the superficial arguments of the pro-slavery men and the impracticability and fanaticism of the abolitionists, guiding him to perceive the right thing to do and the best and wisest means to execute what needed to be done for an America that is characterized by Eternal Values, transcending lower stages of development and the opinions, choices and actions of lower forms of thinking and being.

As we begin this new month, I’m also remembering that on September 22 of 1862, after the battle at Antietam, president Abraham Lincoln issued a preliminary Emancipation Proclamation declaring all slaves free in the recalcitrant states as of January 1, 1863.

Although America abolished slavery with the ratification of the 13th Amendment over 150 years ago, it is estimated that there are still more than 40 million slaves around the world today. In spite of the fact that this is a Great Nation, a work in progress, the United States continues to be a source, transit, and destination country for men, women, and children subjected to forced labor, debt bondage, involuntary servitude, and for sex trafficking victims, including U.S. citizens and foreign nationals. Forced labor in the wealthiest Nation in the world is more common than many might think.

Undoubtedly, our world will become a much better place as we cease the lower stages of development and move to a higher ground, as the human race rises to higher viewpoints. This can only happen with the rise of the individuals who are ready for higher vantage points.

“Unless a person is born from above, it’s not possible to see what I’m pointing to — to God’s Kingdom.” Eternal King of Kings | When an individual’s identity is in proper alignment with the True King [ God, ] he achieves the humility of the creature before its transpersonal source, the Creator, the Eternal One. At the same time he comes to the realization that the Eternal King is within.

The cure and solution for the social problems that we are still experiencing in our generation lies not only with and within the leaders, masters, employers, but also within the workers themselves. People make society what it is and as everyone rises above lower manifestations of thinking and being, aligning themselves with the Kingdom of Heaven, all of our systems will also be changed.

No government can wholly succeed unless there is a large body of its citizens in inward harmony [ spiritual preparation on the part of the people ] with its laws, which needs to mirror the Order of Heaven. No government can be more perfect, wise and righteous than its leaders, which need to become developed characters, consciously one in essence, in will, and in action with the Source of Divine Order Imago Dei.

The unfortunate problem of forced labor and slavery, in our modern but not so modern world, reminds me of the story of the seventeen year old boy who was the pride of his earthly father and betrayed by his own flesh and blood brothers. They almost killed him before selling the young man to slave traders who took him as a slave into another nation. There, he worked as a servant for the captain of the palace guard and was consequently placed in charge of all that belonged to the captain. Later, through what appeared to have been another misfortune in his life, he was unjustly imprisoned, yet none of it defined his true identity and his internal developmental process. All that was happening in his life was an integral part of a training, of a much larger plan and context. Without going into all the details of how the story unfolded, he continued to build a proper relationship with the Eternal One. The One who really is in charge of everything and was molding, shaping, preparing the young man. In due time, through divine providence, he was placed as the vizier of the kingdom he was previously sold into as a slave. | The Story of Joseph, Book of Genesis, first of the books about the Eternal Kingdom.

Another similar story is the story of Daniel, “So that the living may know [ without any doubt ] that the Most High [ Eternal King ] is sovereign and rules over all the kingdoms on earth and sets up over it the basest of men.” Book of Daniel | The Books about The Eternal Kingdom

Also remember that America’s own 16th president was treated like a slave by his own father and through divine providence became a prominent national leader. The consequences and positive impact of his work are still unraveling today.  There are countless present day stories, you might know some very well, inspiring, and clearly illustrating what it’s possible when men and God are united in the acts of the soul on behalf of a greater cause.

While many are commemorating this day with other fellow men, acquaintances, friends, relatives, immediate family, … we also remember that a week and one day from this day, seventeen years ago, many individuals lost their loved ones on the September 11 incident, approximately 3,000 lives died. Many were directly impacted by the event while the wide-world experienced ramifications and repercussions of the happening.

Today, my thoughts and prayers are with everyone celebrating Labor Day and the blessings of an advancing creation, as well as with those who have been touched by tragedy and are experiencing the pain, suffering, and are still struggling to make sense of a world that, from an Eternal vantage point and from the knowledge and understanding of a greater plan, is a magnificent work in progress.

Remember, the distinguishing characteristic of all really great and excellent men and women is an unwavering faith, not just a faith in one’s small s self, but in Something Great which upholds right. With faith in the Eternal God and in His divine order, justice, love, truth, power, timing, excellence, majesty,  a people destined to change the world can achieve higher levels of true greatness.

Have a superb week and a blessed month as we approach the Autumnal Equinox on September 22, the beginning of a brand new season.

God bless you. God bless America. May His Kingdom come and His will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.
